volvo warning 'abs/anti-skid service reqd' volvo v70 2002 is showing the warning 'abs/anti-skid service reqd', also the driver side front wheel makes a screeching sound not unlike worn down pads on discs when making a right or left The vehicle has done 170k miles and I replaced the water pump and belts in March 2011. However, I did not refit the plastic inner wing till Nov of 2011. Could this have anything to do with noises and warnings I am now receiving. I guess I am keen to know if the problems are wheel speed sensors or ABS/ECU issues. Get that car Jacked up and pull the wheel and do a very close inspection. It could be any thing from a rock in the Caliper, to loose wheel bearings to bad brake pads to a bad CV Joint.Inspect for where there is any fresh wear or grind marks on your suspension to check for integrity. Problem with Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic Motorcycles Just had a set of Vance and Hines true duel pipes fited and a high flow HD air filter along with a retune using a screaming eagle race tuner problem is that now what sounds like the throttle position sensor is very noisy when i turn the ignition on ( sounds like it is going to full on and back to off ) , is this due to the retune , the lack of the original air filter back or is the position sensor on the way out . The bike seems to running ok starts well and definatly has more low to mid range power and the bonus of better fuel economy , the engine fault light and security light both go out after the prescribed 4 secs so there seems to be no faults , bike is a 2007 FLHTCU . 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L no cooling fans unless A/C is on. Country: United States Make: Pontiac Model: Grand Prix GT Year: 1997 Engine: 3.8l Already Tried: Unplugged coolant temp sensor next to thermostat, and the fans did not come on even then. Will only come on with A/C. Does the check engine light come on with engine running? How hot does the engine get if idling without the a/c on? Customer replied2 days and 17 hours ago.
