Offside door mirror has continuous ratcheting action, after being knocked.

Problem with 2007 Toyota Yaris The offside door mirror has been knocked and now the electrics are playing up, so every time we switch the ignition on the complete mirror unit is powered and just performs a continuous ratcheting action. This can only be solved by holding the unit firm for a short period. Toyota say the only repair option is a new unit at $700! The glass adjusting motor still works as does the folding action. Sounds like the main motor mount pin is snapped. Unfortunately they are right, you will need to replace the mirror unit complete. That said, I wouldn't be paying $700. Ring around wreckers and get a 2nd hand one. You'll likely find one in the right color for your vehicle..

Insufficient Permission

Problem with Network Software & Management Tools I had the same problem. I'm trying to install OS X MOUNTAIN LION in VMware Workstation 8.3 for Windows. In the end, when I try to run the virtual machine an error telling me that I have access denied for insufficient permissions. I'm already working as an administrator. Have click Run as administrator. I've tried changing the READ ONLY and the system allows not change. I believe not change by being in the mounted image. I think it must be some locking system that is not allowing. What can I do?? I'm waiting. Thank you very much. I've already changed NFS permissions and nothing

Throttle position sensor noisy

Problem with Harley Davidson FLHTCUI Electra Glide Ultra Classic Motorcycles Just had a set of Vance and Hines true duel pipes fited and a high flow HD air filter along with a retune using a screaming eagle race tuner problem is that now what sounds like the throttle position sensor is very noisy when i turn the ignition on ( sounds like it is going to full on and back to off ) , is this due to the retune , the lack of the original air filter back or is the position sensor on the way out . The bike seems to running ok starts well and definatly has more low to mid range power and the bonus of better fuel economy , the engine fault light and security light both go out after the prescribed 4 secs so there seems to be no faults , bike is a 2007 FLHTCU . Pilot light issue

Image
Pilot light issue Vulcan convection oven has pilot lit and fan blows The list of problems is as long as the one Obama inherited when he took over. Good news though, the most expensive part works, the blower motor! The pilot is established which rules out a gas issue. The two most common problems are, either the temp controller or the infinite switch is bad. Your unit has one or the other but, not both. Controller has several wires leading to it & has a green or tan circuit board on it, infinite switch is a small black or white 2 inch square box with 4 or 5 wires leading to it. Each one of these are mounted thru the front control panel & both have knobs. Temp board around $180, infinite switch around $45. As far as the schematic is concerned, Vulcan was bought by Hobart & they DO NOT give out schematics or service manuals. Pontiac Firebird Trans Am: 2001 Pontiac trans am. alternator

2001 Pontiac trans am. alternator replaced with aftermarket unit. The original alternator tested bad at the local auto shack. The new alternator is not charging. Does this mean I need to use a factory unit? Country: United States Make: Pontiac Model: Firebird Trans Am Year: 2001 Engine: 5.7 Already Tried: New aftermarket alternator. Have you tested for power at the alternator connections? Customer replied2 days and 21 hours ago. no. The car is not at home right now. What should I check for? Is there anything that has to be done with/to the computer when changing the alternator? If I have power at the alternator does that mean the new one is bad? Accepted Answer Expert:  Dave Nova replied2 days and 21 hours ago. Nothing needs to be done to the computer when replacing the alternator. Make sure there is voltage on the large stud terminal at the back of the alternator. Then turn the key on and test for voltage on the small red wire at the plug in connector. If y...

Pontiac Grand Prix GT: 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L no cooling

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L no cooling fans unless A/C is on. Country: United States Make: Pontiac Model: Grand Prix GT Year: 1997 Engine: 3.8l Already Tried: Unplugged coolant temp sensor next to thermostat, and the fans did not come on even then. Will only come on with A/C. Does the check engine light come on with engine running? How hot does the engine get if idling without the a/c on? Customer replied2 days and 17 hours ago. The engine gets warm, but I wouldn't say hot. It doesn't have a gasket problem. No CEL. Expert:  Dave Nova replied2 days and 17 hours ago. Fans should of course come on when the coolant sensor is unplugged. Fans also come on when the temperature reaches 225-228 degrees. Does the engine reach that temperature range or more? Customer replied2 days and 17 hours ago. Well, see, that's what I thought. That's why I unplugged it, but they didn't come on. And they DO run with the A/C on, which is weird, so I'm not in...
